Michael graduated from Villanova University and received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. Prior to joining D’Arcy Johnson Day, Michael was a partner at the law firm of Cooper Levenson in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Michael has spent his entire career devoting 100% of his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury trial work. Focusing on the practice areas of personal injury, wrongful death, construction accidents, and motor vehicle accidents, Michael has brought hundreds of cases to completion, obtaining millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients. As a result of these favorable outcomes, he has been selected for inclusion as a “Rising Star” in the area of personal injury law by New Jersey Monthly Magazine from 2013 through 2016. Michael was also recognized by the Boardwalk Journal in 2011 as one of the areas “Who’s Who” and in 2013 by Atlantic City Weekly as one of the areas “Top 40 Under 40”.
Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey, Michael is also a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, a distinction achieved by fewer than 2% of all lawyers licensed in New Jersey. In addition, Michael is also a board-certified Civil Advocate, meeting the rigorous objective quality standards set forth by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. A member of the Atlantic County, Cape May County and New Jersey Bar Associations, the American Association for Justice, New Jersey Association for Justice, and Bar Association of the Federal Third Circuit, he also serves on the Executive Committees of the Vincent S. Hanneman American Inns of Court and as a trustee on the Atlantic County Bar Association.
Michael has served the community as a Board member of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, the AtlantiCare Foundation, and the Coalition for a Safe Community. Michael is also the Co-Founder of SoPro-AC a young professional networking organization.
